Southwest Georgia Academy's win came from a few key players Georgia Christian will need to keep an eye on. One of the most notable was Colt Williams, who dropped a double-double on 15 points and 11 boards. That's the most boards he has posted since back in January of 2024. The team also got some help courtesy of Weston Durden, who went 5 of 12 on his way to 17 points.

Southwest Georgia Academy's victory bumped their record up to 8-6. As for Georgia Christian, their win bumped their record up to 4-5.

Georgia Christian didn't have too much breathing room in their game against Southwest Georgia Academy in their previous matchup back in February of 2024, but they still walked away with a 53-49 victory.
