Basketball Recap: Madison/Hamilton Comes Up Short

Madison/Hamilton was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They were five points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 45-40 heartbreaker at the hands of Chase County. The result was an unpleasant reminder to Madison/Hamilton of the 50-33 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in February of 2024.

Madison/Hamilton's defeat dropped their record down to 5-4. As for Chase County, the win was the eighth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 16-4.

Madison/Hamilton does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Chase County, they will venture away from home to face off against Centre at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Centre has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games.
