Baseball Recap: Chicopee Takes a Loss

Chicopee was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their 14th straight loss. They were two runs away from ending the streak, but they lost a 5-3 heartbreaker at the hands of the Ludlow Lions. Pacers fans who chose to attend the game sure picked the wrong one: it was the first time the team's lost against the Lions since on Thursday.

Chicopee's defeat dropped their record down to 1-16. As for Ludlow, their victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 7-8.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Chicopee will welcome Holyoke at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Ludlow, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Monument Mountain at 4:00 p.m. on Friday.
