Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Catholic Central). They breezed past the Madonna Blue Dons to the tune of 78-42 on Monday. The win was nothing new for the Crusaders as they're now sitting on eight straight.

Despite the loss, Madonna saw an underclassman step up: freshman Connor Carte to rack up 21 points and five rebounds. The contest was Carte's fourth in a row with at least 15 points. Reno Fuscardo was another key player, putting up seven points and six boards.

Catholic Central's victory was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 19-3. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 59.5 points over those games. As for Madonna, they are on an eight-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 6-14.
