Volleyball Recap: Dynamic Duo of Kacie Nading and Brianna Allen Lead Mccutcheon to Victory

McCutcheon lost to Western Boone back in September of 2024, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Tuesday. The Mavericks blew past the Stars 3-0. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Mavericks.

McCutcheon walked away with the victory (and looked especially good in the first set). The final score came out to 25-12, 25-18, 25-17.

Leading McCutcheon to victory were Brianna Allen and Kacie Nading. Allen had nine digs and four aces, while Nading had four digs. Those four digs gave Nading a new career-high.

They weren't the only good servers: McCutcheon was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 15 aces. That's the most aces they've managed all season.

McCutcheon now has a winning record of 8-7. As for Western Boone, they now have a losing record of 6-7.

McCutcheon didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 3-2 loss against Harrison on the 18th. As for Western Boone, they have also already played their next matchup, a 3-2 win against Frankfort on the 18th.
