Whitfield and Lutheran South are an even 3-3 against one another since April of 2016, but likely not for long. The Warriors will challenge the Lancers at 4:15 p.m. on Friday. Whitfield's offense has struggled lately (the team hasn't scored more than a single goal for five straight games), a trend the team is no doubt ready to end.

Thursday just wasn't the day for Whitfield's offense. They lost 5-0 to Parkway Central on Thursday.

Meanwhile, Lutheran South didn't have quite enough to beat Windsor on Wednesday and fell 2-1. Lutheran South haven't had much luck with Windsor recently, as the team has come up short the last five times they've met.

Lutheran South now has a losing record of 3-4-1. As for Whitfield, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-6.

Everything went Whitfield's way against Lutheran South in their previous matchup back in April of 2024, as Whitfield made off with a 6-0 win. Will the Warriors repeat their success, or do the Lancers have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
