Soccer Recap: Marlboro Central Comes Up Short

Marlboro Central lost against Wallkill back in September of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Dukes came up short against the Panthers, falling 4-1. While losing is never fun, Marlboro Central can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' New York soccer rankings (they are ranked 296th, while Wallkill are ranked 16th).

Marlboro Central's loss dropped their record down to 5-7-3. As for Wallkill, their win bumped their record up to 13-0.

Coming up, Marlboro Central will challenge Saugerties at 4:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Wallkill does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
