Softball Recap: Craigmont Comes Up Short

Craigmont was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their 13th straight loss dating back to last season. They came up short against the Brighton Cardinals, falling 16-0. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Cardinals this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 15-0 on Wednesday.

Craigmont's defeat dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Brighton, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 8-6-2.

Coming up, Craigmont will welcome White Station at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Brighton, they didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 17-7 win against Covington on the 27th.
