Baseball Game Preview: Leland & Gray Rebels vs. Poultney Blue Devils

Leland & Gray has gone 8-2 against Poultney recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Thursday. The Rebels are headed away from home for the first time to square off against the Blue Devils at 4:30 p.m. Poultney took a loss in their last contest and will be looking to turn the tables on Leland & Gray, who comes in off a win.

On Thursday, Leland & Gray made easy work of West Rutland and carried off a 13-3 victory. The win continues a trend for the Rebels in their matchups with the Golden Horde: they've now won four in a row.

Meanwhile, Poultney was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their ninth straight defeat dating back to last season. They were a single run away from ending the streak, but they lost a 1-0 heartbreaker at the hands of Twin Valley.

The victory got Leland & Gray back to even at 1-1. As for Poultney, their loss dropped their record down to 0-3.
