Soccer Recap: Queen's Grant Takes a Loss

While it was all tied up 0-0 at halftime, Queen's Grant was not quite Thomas Jefferson Classical Academy's equal in the second half on Monday. They lost 3-0 to the Gryphons. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against Thomas Jefferson Classical Academy this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 5-0 back in September.

This is the second loss in a row for Queen's Grant and nudges their season record down to 8-12. As for Thomas Jefferson Classical Academy, they pushed their record up to 18-1 with the victory, which was their seventh straight on the road.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Queen's Grant is set to face off against their familiar foe Mountain Island Charter at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Meanwhile, Thomas Jefferson Classical Academy will challenge rival Jackson Day at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
