Volleyball Recap: Gahr Has No Trouble Against Whittier

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Warren, Gahr was happy to have turned things around on Wednesday. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Whittier Cardinals. The Gladiators have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Cardinals, too.

Gahr's win was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 16-12. As for Whittier, they have been struggling recently as they've lost nine of their last ten games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-15 record this season.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Gahr will face off against La Mirada at 3:15 p.m. on Thursday. As for Whittier, they will take on La Serna at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. The Cardinals are facing the Lancers at the right time seeing as the Lancers are stuck on a five-game losing streak.
