Softball Recap: Lawson Cardinals vs. West Platte Bluejays
Lawson was the 10-0 winner over West Platte when they last played one another back in October of 2023, but their luck changed this time around. The Lawson Cardinals fell 5-2 to the West Platte Bluejays on Thursday. That's two games in a row now that the Cardinals have lost by exactly three runs.
This is the second loss in a row for Lawson and nudges their season record down to 11-8. As for West Platte, they have been performing well recently as they've won nine of their last 12 games, which provided a nice bump to their 10-7 record this season.
Lawson will be playing at home against Mid-Buchanan at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for West Platte, it'll be Battle of the Birds when Bluejays dukes it out withEagles at 11:30 a.m. on Saturday.
