Basketball Recap: Robeson Business Tech Takes a Loss

Robeson Business Tech was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their tenth straight defeat. They took a 65-56 hit to the loss column at the hands of the John Jay Wolves. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Eagles this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 52-42 back in December of 2024.

Robeson Business Tech's loss dropped their record down to 0-10. As for John Jay, they are on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last nine games, which provided a nice bump to their 11-10 record this season.

Robeson Business Tech wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 58-48 defeat against Midwood on the 1st. As for John Jay, they will head out to face off against Achievement First at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. Achievement First is on a four-game streak of home wins, John Jay a five-game streak of away wins -- so someone will have to leave a streak behind on the court.
