Basketball Recap: Lakeview Takes a Loss

Lakeview lost against Anchor Bay last Monday and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Lakeview Huskies came up short against the Anchor Bay Tars, falling 47-24. While losing is never fun, the Huskies can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Michigan basketball rankings (they are ranked 271st, while the Tars are ranked 69th).

Lakeview has also traveled a rocky road recently having lost three of their last four games, which put a noticeable dent in their 9-8 record this season. As for Anchor Bay, the victory (which was their tenth in a row) raised their record to 14-3.

Coincidentally, the two teams will both be playing Romeo the next time they take the court. Lakeview will head out to face Romeo at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, while Anchor Bay will host them at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
