            Baseball Recap: Bonneville Lakers vs. Virgin Valley Bulldogs        
        
		
        
        
            If Bonneville was feeling good  fresh off their  11-1 takedown of Duchesne on Friday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Bonneville Lakers took  an  8-4 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Virgin Valley Bulldogs on Friday. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Lakers of the  16-0 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture  back in March of 2024.

Bonneville now  has a losing record of 1-2. As for Virgin Valley, the  victory was  the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 3-1.
 Coming up, Bonneville will head out on the road to  face off against  Mountain View  at 12:00  p.m.  on Saturday. As for Virgin Valley, they and Enterprise will meet in a dog eat dog contest  at 2:00  p.m.  on Saturday. Virgin Valley is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 10.2  runs per game  this season.
