Softball Preview: Analy Tigers vs. Cloverdale Eagles

Sophia Pellini was huge no matter where she played even without the win. On the mound, she struck out ten batters over seven innings while giving up six earned runs off six hits. That's the most strikeouts she has posted since back in February of 2024. She was also solid in the batter's box, scoring two runs while going 2-for-3.

In other batting news, Bella Jurek was cooking despite her team's loss, scoring two runs while going 1-for-3. Maya Antonelli was another key player, going 2-for-3 with two RBI and one double.

Cloverdale kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 11 hits. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as St. Vincent de Paul only managed five hits.

Cloverdale's victory was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 7-0. As for Analy, their loss dropped their record down to 1-3.
