Basketball Recap: Iowa City West Comes Up Short at Home Against Clear Creek-Amana

Iowa City West unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-court advantage in their season opener. They fell 58-53 to the Clear Creek-Amana Clippers on Tuesday. The Trojans were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Clippers apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in December of 2024.

Looking ahead, Iowa City West will challenge Ottumwa at 7:45 p.m. on Friday. As for Clear Creek-Amana, they will take on Solon at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
