 Grace Christian put the finishing touches on their seventh blowout victory of the season  on Friday. Their pitchers stepped up to hand the American Leadership Academy-Johnston Patriots  a   15-0 shutout. That's more bragging rights for Grace Christian, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.
  Hayley Pugh made a splash no matter where she played. On the mound, she  pitched  an inning while giving up   no  earned runs or  hits. Pugh has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't  given up  more than two  walks in four consecutive pitching appearances. Pugh was also big at the plate,  scoring two  runs while going 2-for-3.
 In other batting news,  Reagan Lindholm was  incredible,  scoring three  runs and  stealing a base while going 2-for-3. Another player making a difference was  Victoria Thomas, who  went 1-for-2 with four  RBI, a  run,  and a  double.
 Grace Christian pushed their record up to 9-7 with that  victory, which was their third straight  on the road. As for American Leadership Academy-Johnston, their loss dropped their record down to 10-8.
 Grace Christian does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for American Leadership Academy-Johnston, they will take on Bonnie Cone Leadership Academy at 5:00  p.m.  on Wednesday. American Leadership Academy-Johnston is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 8.6  runs per game  this season.
