Softball Recap: Del Norte Takes a Loss

Del Norte extended their losing streak to 11 on Friday, dropping their season record down to 3-23 in the process. They came up short against the Hope Christian Huskies, falling 14-7. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Huskies this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 13-3 back in April.

As for Hope Christian, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 14-10. Considering they have won 11 matches by more than five runs this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

For Hope Christian's part, the team relied heavily on Brooklyn Quanz, who went 2-for-5 with two runs, two RBI, and one double. The team also got some help courtesy of Ella McFadden, who went 2-for-4 with two runs, one stolen base, and one RBI.

As of now, neither Del Norte nor Hope Christian have any future games scheduled.
