There's no place like home for Notre Dame, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Wednesday. They blew past the Magnolia Blue Eagles 10-3 on Friday. The Fighting Irish might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won seven matchups by six runs or more this season.

Dominico Minnocci was a major factor while hitting and pitching. On the mound, he didn't allow a single earned run over four innings pitched. He has been nothing but reliable: he hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts in three consecutive appearances. He was also stellar in the batter's box, going 2-for-4 with two stolen bases, two runs, and two RBI.

In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Jovanni Minnocci, who went 2-for-4 with two stolen bases, two runs, and one double. He is becoming a predictor of Notre Dame's success: when he posts at least two runs the team is 7-2 (and 5-7 when he doesn't).

Notre Dame kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 11 hits. They are 5-1 when they post 11 or more hits.

Notre Dame's record is now 12-9. As for Magnolia, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 7-18.
