Basketball Recap: Three Rivers' Luck Changes for the Better on Friday

Three Rivers had to endure a five-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They had just enough and edged the Refugio Bobcats out 37-35. The Bulldogs have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Bobcats, too.

Three Rivers' win was their first in the district, bumping their district record up to 1-4 and their overall record up to 4-14. As for Refugio, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 3-2.

Coincidentally, the two teams will both be playing Kenedy the next time they take the court. Three Rivers will head out to face Kenedy at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday, while Refugio will host them at 7:30 p.m. on January 17th.
