Basketball Recap: Boone Comes Up Short

Boone was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They took a 59-42 bruising from the Carroll Tigers. If the Toreadors were looking for revenge after losing 75-53 to the Tigers when the teams met back in January, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Boone now has a losing record of 2-3. As for Carroll, the win got them back to even at 2-2.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Boone will square off against rival Bondurant-Farrar at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Carroll is set to take on their familiar foe Winterset at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
