There's no place like home for Ashley Hall, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Tuesday. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the First Baptist School Hurricanes on Thursday. The victory continues a trend for the Panthers in their matchups with the Hurricanes: they've now won seven in a row.

Ashley Hall never let First Baptist School on the board, but things got pretty close in the third set. The final score came out to 25-16, 25-18, 27-25.

Isabella Smith paced Ashley Hall's offense, picking up 11 kills. Smith got some help from Charlotte Strickland and her 27 assists. Strickland also made an impact serving: she shared the team lead in aces with Amelia Finnegan, racking up two apiece.

Ashley Hall's win was their first in the region, bumping their region record up to 1-2 and their overall record up to 5-6. As for First Baptist School, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 9-8.
