Volleyball Recap: Foundation Christian Academy Takes a Loss

The Foundation Christian Academy Falcons came up short against the Knoxville Christian Knights on Saturday and fell 2-0.

Foundation Christian Academy was was forced to take the loss, but they sure made Knoxville Christian work for it, especially in the first set. The match finished with set scores of 32-30, 25-16.

Peyton Smith was the offensive standout of the matchup as she had four digs and four aces.

Foundation Christian Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 7-10. As for Knoxville Christian, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 10-6 record this season.

Foundation Christian Academy will look to defend their home court on Monday against Monroe County at 6:30 p.m. As for Knoxville Christian, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 2-0 loss against Clarksville Christian on the 27th.
