 The Riverside Panthers will head out on the road to  take on  the Adamsville Cardinals at 5:00  p.m.  on Monday. Riverside is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 6.3  runs per game  this season.
 Last Friday, it was a hard-fought  game, but Riverside had to settle for  a  4-3 defeat against Hollow Rock-Bruceton Central.
  Lauren Ruehl spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered only one earned  (and three unearned) runs on eight hits and racked up six Ks.
 On the hitting side,  Jayla Davenport made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and  scored a  run and  stole two bases while going 2-for-4. She has been hot recently, having posted  at least one  stolen base the last four times she's  played.
 Meanwhile,  after soaring to 13  runs the game before, Adamsville was a bit more limited  in their  match  on Friday. They fell just short of Hardin County by a score of  3-2. Adamsville has not had much luck with Hardin County recently, as the team's come up short the last six times they've met.
  Grace Belton made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and  scored a  run while going 2-for-3.
 Riverside's record now sits at 11-7-1. As for Adamsville, their record is now 7-13-1.
 Riverside came out on top in a nail-biter against Adamsville  in their previous matchup  on April 4th, sneaking past  5-4. One of the biggest obstacles the team faced in that game was  Adamsville's  Hayley Brewer, who   struck out eight batters over  6.2 innings while giving up  four earned  (and one unearned) runs off   five  hits. Now that she's  got a second chance to win this matchup, will Riverside still be able to contain  Brewer? There's only one way to find out.
