Basketball Game Preview: Chase County Bulldogs vs. Madison Bulldogs

We've got a battle between Bulldogs coming up. Both come into the matchup bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Last Friday, Chase County was able to grind out a solid win over Waverly, taking the game 44-33. Chase County hasn't had any issues with Waverly recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive victory against them.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Madison). They simply couldn't be stopped on Friday as they easily beat Southern Coffey County 78-12. The win was familiar territory for the Bulldogs, who have now won four contests in a row.

Madison pushed their record up to 10-6 with the victory, which was their third straight at home. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 56.3 points over those games. As for Chase County, their win bumped their record up to 10-7-2.

Everything went Chase County's way against Madison when the teams last played back in February of 2024, as Chase County made off with a 46-25 victory. Will Chase County repeat their success, or does Madison have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
