Basketball Game Preview: Pojoaque Valley Elks/Elkettes vs. Santa Fe Demons

The Pojoaque Valley Elks/Elkettes will venture away from home to square off against the Santa Fe Demons at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Santa Fe took a loss in their last matchup and will be looking to turn the tables on Pojoaque Valley, who comes in off a win.

On Tuesday, Pojoaque Valley was fully in charge, breezing past Socorro 80-53.

Meanwhile, Santa Fe opened the new year with a less-than-successful 75-62 loss to Clovis.

Pojoaque Valley's win bumped their record up to 10-3. As for Santa Fe, their defeat dropped their record down to 7-5.

Pojoaque Valley was taken down by Santa Fe 69-23 in their previous matchup back in November of 2018. Can Pojoaque Valley avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
