Pennridge suffers fourth straight loss on the road

Recap: Pennridge Rams vs. Neshaminy Skins

The Pennridge Rams's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Thursday after their fourth straight loss. They suffered a tough 58-37 loss at the hands of Neshaminy. While losing is never fun, Pennridge can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Pennsylvania basketball rankings (they are ranked 489th, while Neshaminy is ranked 243rd).

Neshaminy can attribute much of their success to Guy Horton, who scored 24 points along with five rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Horton has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Max Currie, who scored 11 points along with eight rebounds.

Pennridge bumped their record down to 3-11 with that defeat, which was their fourth straight on the road. As for Neshaminy, the win makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 8-6.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Pennridge will take on North Penn at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. North Penn and Pennridge are at an even 5-5 over their past ten head-to-heads. As for Neshaminy, they will play host again and welcome Pennsbury, where tip off is scheduled for 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
