Braintree is 8-2 against Framingham since May of 2015 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Monday. The Wamps will venture away from home to take on the Flyers at 4:00 p.m. Braintree's pitching crew has only allowed two runs per game this season, so Framingham's hitters will have their work cut out for them.

Braintree is coming in fresh off a high-stakes matchup with another one of Massachusetts' top teams: Duxbury, who was ranked 20th at the time (Braintree was ranked 12th). The Wamps fell just short of the Dragons by a score of 4-3 on Friday. The Wamps' defeat signaled the end of their six-game winning streak.

Meanwhile, Framingham came up short against Wayland on Wednesday and fell 5-1.

Braintree suffered their first road loss, dropping their record down to 6-2. As for Framingham, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-8.

Braintree came out on top in a nail-biter against Framingham in their previous matchup back in May of 2024, sneaking past 3-2. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Wamps since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
