Football Recap: Burlington's Undefeated Season over After Three Games

Burlington lost against Washington back in September of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Grayhounds fell just short of the Demons by a score of 16-14. The loss put an end to the Grayhounds' undefeated start to the season.

Having lost for the first time this season, Burlington fell to 2-1. As for Washington, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-2.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Burlington will welcome Keokuk at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Washington, they will host Oskaloosa at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
