Football Game Preview: East River Falcons vs. Lake Buena Vista Vipers + Official Tickets

The East River Falcons will face off against the Lake Buena Vista Vipers at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Lake Buena Vista took a loss in their last matchup and will be looking to turn the tables on East River, who comes in off a win.

East River headed into their last game having not scored more than 13 points for three straight, but Cypress Creek let them put that streak behind them. The Falcons blew past the Bears 37-0 on Friday. The Falcons haven't had any issues with the Bears recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive victory against them.

East River's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Camron Hancock, who rushed for 77 yards and one TD on only five carries. Hancock got the majority of those rushing yards when he took off on a run that went for an incredible 64 yards. Another player making a difference was Ayden Edgecombe, who rushed for 34 yards and one touchdown.

Meanwhile, Lake Buena Vista was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They took a blow against Innovation, falling 35-8. The Vipers were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 28-0.

East River's victory bumped their record up to 2-6. As for Lake Buena Vista, their loss dropped their record down to 3-5.
