If Monsignor Bonner/Archbishop Prendergast Catholic was riding high fresh off their 7-0 takedown of Father Judge last Wednesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Friars/Pandas fell just short of the Archbishop Ryan Raiders and Ragdolls by a score of 8-7 on Wednesday. Even though they lost, the Friars/Pandas' still made a splash at the plate and bumped their average scoring up to 6.2 runs per game (they're now ranked -1th in scoring overall).

Owen Lockhart made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went 1-for-4 with one home run and two RBI. That home run marked the first that he launched this season. The team also got some help courtesy of Ryan Friel, who scored a run and stole two bases while going 1-for-4.

Monsignor Bonner/Archbishop Prendergast Catholic suffered their first road defeat, dropping their record down to 3-3. As for Archbishop Ryan, their record now sits at 6-3.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Monsignor Bonner/Archbishop Prendergast Catholic will challenge Neumann-Goretti at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. The last four games the Saints have played have been within two runs, so don't be surprised if it's a close one. As for Archbishop Ryan, they will square off against Springside Chestnut Hill Academy at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday.
