Volleyball Recap: Milan Gets the Win

Milan posted their closest win since August 16th on Saturday. They skirted past the Hauser Jets 2-1. The Indians have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Jets, too.

The match was a true back-and-forth as no team won consecutive sets, but in the end it was Milan who won the one that mattered. The final score came out to 25-23, 23-25, 15-8.

Emma Voss paced Milan's offense, picking up nine kills. Voss really made an impact as she also led the team in assists with ten. Josie Prifogle controlled things from the service line, finishing with three aces.

The victory snapped Milan's losing streak at three matches and leaves them with a 13-9 record. As for Hauser, their defeat was their fourth straight at home, which dropped their record down to 6-20.

Coincidentally, Milan and Hauser will both be playing Brown County the next time they take the court. The Jets will host the Eagles at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, while the Indians will play them later in the day, at 1:15 p.m.
