Football Game Preview: Eastlake Wolves vs. Woodinville Falcons + How To Watch

For the first time this season, Eastlake will have a chance to prove themselves in a conference matchup. They will be playing at home against the Woodinville Falcons at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

Eastlake is coming in fresh off a high-stakes matchup with another one of Washington's top teams: Tumwater, who was ranked tenth at the time (Eastlake was ranked 19th). The Wolves were beaten by the Thunderbirds 49-21 on Friday.

Meanwhile, it was a Battle of the Birds when Woodinville faced off against Juanita on Saturday. The Falcons won a matchup that couldn't have been any closer, slipping by the Ravens 14-13. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Falcons.

Eastlake better focus on containing Santiago Hernandez and Drew Sorensen as the pair were huge in Woodinville's win. Hernandez threw for 208 yards and two TDs while completing 75% of his passes, while Sorensen picked up 77 receiving yards.

Eastlake now has a losing record of 1-2. As for Woodinville, they now have a winning record of 2-1.

Eastlake was able to grind out a solid victory over Woodinville in their previous meeting back in September of 2024, winning 35-28. Will the Wolves repeat their success, or do the Falcons have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
