For whatever reason, it's the away team that's had the advantage when Northwestern and Clover meet (three straight games heading into this one) and that held true again on Tuesday. The Northwestern Trojans lost 7-1 to the Clover Blue Eagles. The defeat continues a trend for the Trojans in their meetings with the Blue Eagles: they've now lost three in a row.

Northwestern's loss dropped their record down to 1-7. As for Clover, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 7-2.
