Basketball Recap: Geronimo Drops Season-High Score on Duke

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Geronimo). They took their matchup on Friday with ease, bagging an 81-35 victory over the Duke Tigers. The Blue Jays have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won nine games by 20 points or more this season.

Geronimo is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five contests, which provided a massive bump to their 14-12 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 54.8 points over those games. As for Duke, they dropped their record down to 2-21 with the defeat, which was their 18th straight at home dating back to last season.

Geronimo wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 40-28 win against Ryan on the 15th. Duke does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
