Baseball Recap: Clay Comes Up Short

Clay suffered their biggest loss since April 8th on Thursday. They came up short against the Valley Indians, falling 13-0. The Panthers have struggled against the Indians recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive lost meeting.

Clay's defeat dropped their record down to 12-8. As for Valley, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 14-4 record this season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Clay will venture away from home to square off against Portsmouth at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Valley, they will head out to challenge Southern at 5:00 p.m. on Friday.
