Softball Recap: Green Forest Comes Up Short

Green Forest lost against Greenland back in March, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Tigers took a 9-4 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Pirates.

Green Forest dropped their record down to 2-13 with the loss, which was their seventh straight on the road. As for Greenland, they are on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 13-4 record this season.

Green Forest wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next match, a 3-2 defeat against Ozark on the 12th. As for Greenland, they have also already played their next game, a 7-4 victory against Providence Academy on the 12th.
