They wound up on the wrong side of a rough 12-3 walloping at the hands of the Central Yellowjackets. The result was an unpleasant reminder to Iroquois of the 17-3 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in May of 2018.
Iroquois' defeat dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Central, their victory (their first of the season) made their record 1-2-1.
Iroquois will look to defend their home field on Thursday against Moore at 5:30 p.m. As for Central, they will be staying on the road on Tuesday to face off against Shawnee at 5:30 p.m.
