Basketball Recap: Cascade Takes a Loss

Cascade lost against Blaine back in December of 2023 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Cascade Bruins fell to the Blaine Borderites 29-25. The Bruins just can't catch a break and have now endured six losses in a row.

Cascade's defeat dropped their record down to 1-6. As for Blaine, their win ended a seven-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 2-5.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Cascade will wrap up 2024 with a road trip to face off against Oak Harbor at 7:15 p.m. on Friday. Cascade is facing Oak Harbor at the right time seeing as Oak Harbor is stuck on a five-game losing streak. As for Blaine, they will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Squalicum at 7:15 p.m. on January 3, 2025.
