Basketball Game Preview: Liberty Hill Panthers vs. Rouse Raiders

The Liberty Hill Panthers are taking a road trip to square off against the Rouse Raiders at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Liberty Hill will be looking to extend their current eight-game winning streak.

Liberty Hill will head into Tuesday's game hoping to keep the good times rolling: they proved they can win big on Friday (they won by 22) and on Tuesday they proved they can win the close ones too. They came out on top in a nail-biter against Leander, sneaking past 37-35.

Meanwhile, Rouse entered their tilt with Glenn on Tuesday with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. They strolled past the Grizzlies with points to spare, taking the game 69-55.

Liberty Hill better keep an eye on Amari Moore. He was instrumental in Rouse's win, going 8 for 17 on his way to 21 points and four steals. The dominant performance also gave Moore a new career-high in assists (four). Malik Etiobhio was another key player, going 5 of 8 en route to 15 points.

Rouse was working as a unit and finished the game with 22 assists. The team's really been improving in that area: they've now improved their assist total in four consecutive contests.

Liberty Hill is on a roll lately: they've won 13 of their last 14 matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 21-5 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 62.5 points per game. As for Rouse, they pushed their record up to 18-8 with the victory, which was their fourth straight on the road.

Liberty Hill lost to Rouse on the road by a decisive 70-56 margin in their previous meeting back in February of 2024. Can Liberty Hill avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
