Thompson had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 6.5 runs) and they went ahead and made it three on Wednesday. They blew past the Marian Catholic Spartans 15-5. The result was nothing new for the Warriors, who have now won 11 matchups by six runs or more so far this season.

Thompson pushed their record up to 22-11 with the victory, which was their third straight at home. Those wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.7 runs on average over those games. As for Marian Catholic, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 3-2.

Thompson didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 2-1 victory against St. Rita on the 26th. As for Marian Catholic, they will square off against Providence Christian Academy at 4:00 p.m. on Friday.
