Soccer Game Preview: Hunt vs. South Brunswick

If Hunt beats South Brunswick with nine goals on Monday, it's going to be the team's new lucky number: they've won their past two contests with that exact score. Everything went the Warriors' way against West Johnston on Wednesday as they made off with a 9-3 victory. Hunt might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 13 matchups by three goals or more this season.

They hit West Johnston with a four-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Madyson Brown (5), Bri Little (2), Caylee Rountree, and Mariah Polk.

Meanwhile, it may have taken extra minutes to finish the job, but South Brunswick ultimately got the result they hoped for on Wednesday. They never let West Brunswick get on the board and left with a 2-0 win. The score was all tied up 0-0 at the break, but South Brunswick were the better team in the second half.

Hunt pushed their record up to 16-2-3 with the victory, which was their seventh straight at home. Those home wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 56 goals over those seven games. As for South Brunswick, their victory bumped their record up to 7-11-3.
