Western Harnett has gone a perfect 8-0 against E.E. Smith recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Tuesday. The Eagles will be playing at home against the Golden Bulls at 6:00 p.m. Western Harnett is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 9.2 runs per game this season.

Summer Baker was cooking despite her team's loss, scoring two runs and stealing a base while going 2-for-4. The team also got some help courtesy of Vanessa Andersen, who went 3-for-4 with one stolen base and one RBI.

Meanwhile, E.E. Smith was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their 12th straight defeat dating back to last season. They came up short against Harnett Central, falling 17-1.

Western Harnett's loss dropped their record down to 8-7. As for E.E. Smith, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-9.

Western Harnett took their win against E.E. Smith in their previous meeting back in April of 2024 by a conclusive 17-2 score. Do the Eagles have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Golden Bulls turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
