Basketball Recap: Gwinn Takes a Loss

If Gwinn was feeling good fresh off their 64-17 takedown of Manistique last Friday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Gwinn Modeltowners fell 48-41 to the North Dickinson Nordics on Thursday.

Gwinn's loss dropped their record down to 1-3. As for North Dickinson, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five games, which provided a nice bump to their 5-2 record this season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Gwinn will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Westwood at 7:00 p.m. on December 30th. North Dickinson also won't see the court for a while: their next contest is against Niagara at 7:00 p.m. on December 30th.
