Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Pittsford). They blew past the Will Carleton Academy Cougars 72-40 on Friday. The match was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 39-16.

When it comes to explaining why Will Carleton Academy lost, don't look at Thomas Maier. Despite the final result, he went 8-for-18 on his way to 19 points and three steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Harrison Sands, who posted nine points.

Pittsford's win bumped their record up to 9-10. As for Will Carleton Academy, their loss ended a four-game streak of away wins and brought them to 16-3.
