Basketball Recap: Woodbury Takes a Loss

Woodbury suffered their biggest loss since December 13, 2024 on Friday. They came up short against the Stillwater Ponies, falling 53-33. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Royals this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 56-48 back in December of 2024.

This is the second loss in a row for Woodbury and nudges their season record down to 11-10. As for Stillwater, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 12-4.

Woodbury is taking a road trip to face off against Irondale at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Woodbury is facing Irondale at the right time seeing as Irondale is stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for Stillwater, they will square off against Mounds View at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Mounds View has been dominant on offense recently, having racked up an incredible 189 points over their last three matches.
