Softball Recap: Shepard Now 11-1 over Last 12 Games

Shepard proved they can win big on Thursday (they won by 14) and on Monday they proved they can win the close ones too. They never let the Reavis Rams get on the board and left with a 2-0 win. That's more bragging rights for the Astros, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Shepard has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 11 of their last 12 matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 20-4 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 9.0 runs over those games. As for Reavis, their loss dropped their record down to 14-12.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Shepard is set to square off against their familiar foe Oak Lawn at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Reavis will take on rival Thornton Fractional South at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
