Martin Luther King Jr. Magnet entered their tilt with Lawson on Saturday with four consecutive wins , and they'll enter their next game with five. They walked away with a 54-46 win over the Lawson Lightning. That's the third time they've managed to beat them this season, with their most recent victory being a 71-60 win last Tuesday.

Lawson's loss shouldn't obscure the performances of Chandler Galloway, who dropped a double-double with 19 points and ten rebounds, and Jacob Williams, who went 8-for-10 on his way to 16 points and five boards. That was a full 41.3% of Lawson's points, marking the sixth time in a row Galloway has posted more than a third of the team's points. Another player making a difference was Austin King, who earned seven points and six boards.

Martin Luther King Jr. Magnet's record is now 14-10. As for Lawson, they dropped their record down to 17-12 with the defeat, which was their third straight on the road.

Looking ahead, Martin Luther King Jr. Magnet will square off against Hume-Fogg at 8:00 p.m. on Monday. Hume-Fogg will roll in looking for their 14th straight victory, something Martin Luther King Jr. Magnet surely won't give up without a fight. Lawson does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
