Fredericksburg got themselves on the board against Gonzales on Tuesday, but Gonzales never followed suit. They were the clear victor by a 9-0 margin over the Gonzales Apaches. Considering the Billies have won five matches by more than seven runs this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.

Ava Stuewe made a splash while hitting and pitching. She looked comfortable on the mound, tossing 1.2 innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. She has been consistent : she hasn't given up more than one earned run in five consecutive appearances. She was also solid in the batter's box, getting on base in three of her four plate appearances with one stolen base.

In other pitching news, Makenna Duecker tossed a big game, not allowing a single earned run and allowed only two hits while striking out seven over 5.1 innings pitched. The dominant performance also gave her a new career-low in earned runs (zero).

Back at the plate, Addison Schoessow was incredible, scoring a run while going 4-for-5. She also brought in three RBI, marking her first of the season. Another player making a difference was Jaycee Treibs, who went a perfect 1-for-1 with one home run and two RBI.

Fredericksburg always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .553. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Gonzales only posted an OBP of .148.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Fredericksburg will take on Bandera at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Fredericksburg is facing Bandera at the right time seeing as Bandera is stuck on a nine-game losing streak. As for Gonzales, they will square off against John F. Kennedy at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. This will be John F. Kennedy's first chance to prove their worth in the conference.
